Recruitment of Navy short services
The Acting Director
of Public Relations, Naval Headquarters, Navy Capt. Suleman Dahun, in Abuja on Tuesday
said that the Nigerian Navy (NN) has commenced the process of recruitment for
suitable qualified Nigerian graduates through the Nigerian navy direct short
service commission (DSSC) course 25. He also declared that the guidelines for
the enlistment can be accessed on the Nigerian Navy Enlistment Portal which
will be open on the 11, October 2017.
Requirement for the application by Dahun are
· Must be a Nigerian Citizen by birth
· Must minimum of second class upper
credit for first degree holders and upper credit for HND holders
·
The male applicant must not be less than1.68 metres tall, while the female applicants must not be 1.65 metres in height

· Should be between 22 and 28 years old
by 31 January, 2018, except for Imams and Chaplains who should not exceed 30
years by 31 January 2018.
