Most notorious Brazilian Jail Talavera Bruce known for fights
and riots in Rio de Janeiro had its beauty contest for their female inmates.
The competition was initialised to build their self- esteem
and character as they were judged with beauty, appeal and attitude says the organizers.
The beauty pageant was held on Wednesday, ten inmates wore
heels and glamorous gowns with wigs and a good make up.
The competition was attended by 440 inmates, including
children and relatives of the contestants.
The winner of this year’s Miss Talavera Bruce competition is
29 years old Mayana Alves with seven arrest warrants when she was arrested in
2015 for Cargo theft.
