At about 7pm in Gravel Hill Croydon, the police reported that
four people were taken to the hospital with no life threatening injuries.
Ferrari worth £450,000 was destroyed in eight car crash.
Pictures of the scene shows that the Ferrari went into the
back of a van that then shunted into the cars in front.
One of the witness said that the accident may have taken place
because of the recent road marking on Gravel Hill. She also said that changing
the section of the road layout can be confusing especially for people who don’t
know the road well.
The spokesman for the London fire Brigade has confirmed that
three fire engines were sent to the crash.
She said “We were called to this incident shortly before 7pm
and the crews from Addington and Croydon fire station attended”. “No persons were
trapped in any of the cars involved”.
