The couple, who already have four-year-old daughter North and two-year-old Saint, are apparently pretty damn excited about bringing home their newest sproglett.
And it’s no surprise that they ‘can’t wait to bring their baby home,’ especially as it should be a relatively stress-free birth – particularly after Kim suffered complications with her last two pregnancies.
The 37-year-old experienced early-onset preeclampsia with North and further complications during labour with Saint, but this time she gets to be the one that cheers on her surrogate, and apparently she’s determined to be proactive during the birth.
‘She’ll be hands-on from the beginning,’ a source told Entertainment tonight. ‘The surrogate’s comfort and safety is incredibly important to [Kim and Kanye].’
And as such, unfortunately none of us will get to witness the magic moment a la Kourtney Kardashian giving birth to son Mason on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in order to ensure the privacy of their surrogate.
She said: ‘It is frustrating like to not be able to do it on your own. It is a weird dynamic.
‘I go to all the doctor’s appointments and I try to be really present, but when you’re not carrying it yourself it is such a fine balance of how much you’re going to be in their lives.
‘Of course, I want to know ever last detail that’s going on with my baby and that’s super frustrating, but I really trust my surrogate and I don’t want to be that person that’s trying to control her every move.
‘It’s going to be a long hard process but I’m going to take it one day at a time and hopefully it just gets easier.’
