Bisi Alimi
the Nigerian gay activist who gained international attention when he became the
first Nigerian to come out of the closet on the television to declare himself
as gay.
October issue
of Gay magazine stated that Bisi Alimi has vowed to see to the fact that same
sex marriage is legalized in Nigeria. He aggressively stated this because former
president Goodluck Jonathan signed a bill with serious penalties against same
sex marriage or same sex amorous marriage.
"I have taken it upon it upon
myself to make sure that only death will stop me from overturning Nigeria's
anti-gay law"
Nigerian government must give gay
freedom.
