most powerful woman. Forbes stated that
“Merkel this year won a hard fought election that saw the
far-right alternative for Germany party creep into the Bundestag.
“she will have to continue to hold tight to the EU rudder as
she faces oncoming storms from Brexit and the growing anti-immigrant sentiment
in Europe,”
Theresa May the British prime minister took the second position
while Hillary Ciliton who took the second position in 2016 fell to 63rd
position due the fact that she lost the united State presidential election to
Donald trump.
President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka took 19th
position while the US ambassador came in 43rd position.
Bill gate’s wife Melinda gates of the gate foundation took
third, Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook came fourth while Mary Barra the head of
general motors came fifth.
