After Wedding Scandals

If wedding was a song, every young lady and gentleman would want to sing it, if it was a dance every lady and gentlemen would want to dance even if the rhythm is bad.

 Wedding is really beautiful indeed. The cakes, gowns, relatives, friends and the joy of motherhood and the happiness in being with someone you love for the rest of your life. Why then do people complain so bitterly about their spouse after the wedding? The rate of divorce is too much especially in Africa. Why? Why would you spend your time, energy and resource for something or someone you are not prepared for? A marriage you did not prepare for is worse than a multi-billion dollar wedding.

 The annoying part is that young people break up without weighing the consequences. Maybe it’s because of their ulterior motive, a search for what they could not give themselves or their desperation. 

Reasons for these scandals are

Orientation: you cannot act beyond your level of understanding. The worst problem of a man is his perspectives. That is who you are. Some people get married with a wrong mentality due to their background or the experience from their past relationship. Marriage is just a word; you create what you want to see in your marriage. Some are married but they still act like they are single simply because they have refused to understand that times have changed. 

for instance if you travel to America with the mentality of a bus conductor simply because that used to be your job in Nigeria then you decided to continue same job only to start shouting Oshodi Oshodi in a bus in Houston. What do you think will happen to you? To avoid the after wedding scandal change your orientation to suite the environment you’re in. make necessary adjustments and grow up for your children.

Too much expectations: it is very wrong for you to expect what you could not give yourself from some else. It’s cheating. Most people give so much while dating that the other person is full expectations only for the other person to deliver less than what is expected. When this happens, love drops; desperation most times is the mother of such act. To be happier stop expecting things from people, it enables you appreciate the little they have to offer. Believe in them but expect nothing from them. Stop all the lies and pretense while in courtship if you really want to avoid the after wedding scandals.

Incompleteness: most people think that they need people to be happy. If you belong to this category believe me sincerely you will never be happy. Happiness is a choice. You choose to be happy or sad.

  There is nothing like 50% by 50% in marriage. It’s either 100% or nothing. Completeness gives color to your character, it makes you get understanding when love dies and makes you a reference to others.   

 After wedding scandals are inevitable but can be managed when prepared for.
